Shouldn’t you and your family be breathing the cleanest and freshest air possible in your home? Of course.
Indoor Air Quality is one of the most important but often overlooked part of a home’s comfort system. Did you know that indoor air can be more stale and polluted than outdoor air.
Most people neglect the importance of clean fresh air in the home. When was the last time you changed that little 1″ disposable filter? If it was more than a month then you waited too long. Plus, those disposable filters aren’t doing much in the way of cleaning the air anyway. It’s really just capturing the large particles of dust in the air.
There are many IAQ products available today that can deal with everything from moisture problems, to pet dander, to smoke and allergies. Some IAQ products can be easily fitted onto your existing ductwork system while others can be used as stand alone equipment.
When you’re ready to clean up the air, we can install the products that will help you breathe easier in your home.
Humidifiers add moisture to your home to maintain proper humidity levels during the heating season. This improves comfort and saves energy – you can lower your thermostat because humid air feels more comfortable at lower temperatures than dry air. It also helps with static electricity and protects against damage to woodwork and hardwood floors by maintaining proper moisture levels.
Media Pleated Filters
Media filters work by pushing air through a filter which traps particles in the air. Is great for eliminating dust and other macro contaminates from the air.
EAC stands for Electronic Air Cleaner. The EAC unit charges plates that the air passes over. These charged plates cause particles in the air to “stick” to them. EAC units will trap much more than a traditional media filter. Also, the EAC units will trap much smaller patricles which would nomally pass right through a Media Filter.
UV Purifiers do not filter particles out of the air like filters, the purpose of the UV air purifier is to kill the living organisms that are floating in the air. UV Air filters will kill bacteria, viruses, mold, and algae in the air.
HEPA Filters, or High Efficiency Particulate Air Filters, can remove up to 99.7% of particles 0.3 micrometers and larger. HEPA filters are one of the best type of air filters and can stop particles that other filters cannot.
Energy Recovery Ventilator
Energy Reovery Ventilators (ERV) provide proper levels of ventilation with energy savings by transferring heat and moisture between the exhaust and fresh air streams.
