I've used Swanton for my heating and AC needs for many years; initially for oil delivery and maintenance of my very old furnace and then for installation of a new gas furnace and air conditioning unit. They have always been excellent and fair- from keeping my old furnace chugging along through removing the old equipment and replacing with new. I would use no one else in my home- they are professional, prompt and courteous and the pricing is very fair.

Swanton Energy Services just installed four mini-split units (heat pumps) in my house and an outside condenser to provide heating and AC. I can't say enough good things about the team that installed the system: they were extremely neat and careful while working in my house, were experienced and meticulous in their work, were kind and respectful to each other and to me, and were fun to have around. They patiently explained everything I need to know about taking care of the system and how to work the remote control and actually swept up (the tiniest bits of) dirt from my outside patio before they left! They all seemed to enjoy their work, working with each other, and interacting with customers. The work on the back outside wall of the house was so neat and carefully done, you can barely notice it. They did a fantastic job, and went the extra mile to meet my needs and answer my questions. Couldn't have been better.

We had an ongoing problem with our air conditioing, and Swanton worked diligently to diagnose and fix the problem. Their workmanship was great, and all three of the guys on the team were wonderful. Tommy, in particular, was so kind to our dog and looked forward to seeing her on his visits! They showed up on time and worked hard every time they were here. They have installed two systems for us and done several repairs/maintenance on our boilers as well (which were installed by previous owners). We have three air conditioners and two boilers, so they have done a good deal of work for us. I highly recommend them!

Heat went out late on a Saturday night. A friendly tech came out 1st thing Sunday morning. My system is somewhat older so I was expecting to be told it was a big issue - new control panel, motor or something. The tech explained everything he was seeing as he explored a few possibilities before figuring out that it was a relatively minor issue, didn’t even need any parts!

Hot water heater went out just after the holidays. Installers were at my house for two straight days removing the old unit & installing the new one, working 8-9 hour days. I was having issues with my older furnace after a very cold few days and bad storm that knocked the power out a few times. The furnace would kick on and then go off after a minute or so. I called and they dispatched a tech to come out within the hour.Kyle was friendly and professional. He was able to diagnose and fix the issues quickly and my dog even liked him!Great job! Would use them again for sure!

Generator:Purchased a whole house generator a couple of years ago.During the past year, it is sluggish to start on its weekly schedule, smells like fumes when it does eventually get going.We tell them that red light is on continually, following the routine yearly service, performed by Sawnton’s technician.They act like it’s ridiculous that we alert them of the issue and when they do come they can’t seem to fix it.Now, tonight, it’s freezing cold and the power went out, it couldn’t get going enough to start. The red light is on again. It’s infuriating and so very disappointing, let alone dangerous. We have a toddler in the house.The generator was fine prior to the technician working on it in the summer. He told me it was overheating, during his service call, because it was sitting in the direct sun. He had to wait for it to “cool off” so he could reset it.This type of interaction/service is a continual disappointment.
